They call all vacation time a "holiday" over there. I like it:)
We had one heck of an adventure last week!! We got to see our great friend Kelee which was definitely the main reason for going, but we also got to do and see some really cool stuff!! I'll try not to bore you with too many details, just a few highlights from the trip.
This was our first night in Johannesburg (Joburg) at this really cool African themed restaurant called "Moyo". They came around and painted our faces! Too cute.
This was the view from our balcony. Really cool "square" of restaurants and bars.
The next morning we left to go on our road trip to visit Phillip, Kelee's boyfriend.
Here's a pic of Michael trying to figure out how to drive on the RIGHT side of the car, and the LEFT side of the road!
A picture of Kelee and her honey! His name is Phillip and he is a farmer in a town called Bray. He owns tons of land there and sees it as his purpose and calling in life to help the oppressed people where he lives have a chance of a better life. He's amazing.
I thought this was just a really cool pic of Kelee The next morning we went out to Phillips farm and went exploring on a four wheeler and a dirt bike! It's about 40 thousand acres of land!!
Us on the four wheeler:)
Phillips goats...
Doesn't this pic look sort of fake?? It's like they were posing! hehe.More to come...

Ok so not boring at all! I love South Africa and love how you call it Joburg (makes one sound more "native" to the land). Makes me miss SA and I really want to go back there. Thanks for sharing : )
I love the photos...looks like you came back with lots of good stories too. So do you think Kelee will ever want to leave?
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!! You have to fill us in on everything else!!! It is so good to see these pictures of her! And of course she found a great guy!! hehe! She's so funny... loved by everyone whereever she goes. So glad you're home safe and can't wait to hear more! Love you!!! :) And about your laundry situation... I dump our clean laundry on the bed so I HAVE to fold it if I want to get in bed that night. I've become really good at "speed folding"!!!! Hope this helps!!! Love you!
S. Africa looks awesome! I'm glad to see some pictures of Kelee. She looks great and happy. Her boyfriend's cute. How long has she been over there? Does she plan on coming back to the States to live?
Looks like you had an amazing time!!
To answer much of the same question, I believe Kelee will live there for a long time. She may come back to the US for a little bit once her service is up, but she will more than likely go back and live there. So sad but I'm also so happy for her! It's truly her calling to be there:)
That is So amazing! Kelee looks great, I'm so happy for her!
more! more! more! i want more pictures and stories!!! : ) kelee looks great!
